Turn off two-factor sign-in
Under Settings › Security, choose “Disable” for two-factor authentication and confirm with a code from the app or a recovery code. After that every other session of your account ends.
- 1. Open Settings › Security, or as staff My account.
- 2. Under Two-factor authentication, choose Disable.
- 3. Enter the code from your authenticator app, or choose Use a recovery code.
- 4. Confirm with Disable.
What applies afterwards
- The key and all recovery codes are deleted.
- Every other session of your account ends. You stay signed in on this device.
- Your password is enough to sign in again.
If you only want to change phones, set up the second factor again with the new phone right afterwards.
