Create a discount code

You create a discount code once and print it on flyers or put it in a campaign.

How to create it

1. 011. Open Marketing › Open schedule › Codes.
2. 022. Choose Add code.
3. 033. Code: three to forty characters, only letters, digits, hyphen and underscore. It is stored in capitals.
4. 044. What for: a short description for yourself.
5. 055. Type: Percent, Amount or Free item, plus the value.
6. 066. If you like: Minimum spend (EUR), Valid until, Max. redemptions and Per guest. 0 means unlimited.
7. 077. Choose Create code.

You cannot change the code itself later; by then it is on flyers and in sent emails. Deactivate takes it out of play, Activate brings it back. Once the maximum is reached, used up appears next to it.

Redeeming

A code is redeemed through the Hub's API, for example from a connected system. The Hub then checks validity, minimum spend and the maximums against the redemptions actually booked. There is no redeem button in the Hub's interface yet.
