Publish the menu
Changes to the menu collect in a draft and only apply once you choose Publish. The draft lives only in the browser window you are working in; if you close it before publishing, it is gone.
In Menu you work on a draft. At the top you see how many changes are open, or that it matches the published menu.
How to publish
- 1. Change whatever should change: dishes, prices, allergens, order.
- 2. Look at the menu under Preview if you like.
- 3. Choose Publish. The Hub confirms that the changes are published and the menu now applies.
From then on, costing and analysis work with the new version, and a Link page that reads its offer from the menu shows it. This does not change the prices in your till; you keep maintaining those in the till.
Good to know
- A dish needs a name and a price before it is published. If something is missing, the Hub says what.
- If one change fails, it and all after it stay in the draft; whatever already went through is published.
- Reset takes back the changes to one dish, Undo the last step.
- Under Published you see the menu as it applies right now. You cannot edit there; Go to draft takes you back.
- “Sold out today” and categories apply straight away, without publishing.
- On your phone, changed prices also collect in the draft. Publish menu makes them apply.
