Record shrinkage by hand

Whatever never goes through the till, you record here: breakage, spoilage, theft, staff meals.

How it works

1. 011. Open Shrinkage & voids and the Recorded by hand tab.
2. 022. Choose Record by hand.
3. 033. Enter Date, Item or description, Quantity, Unit and Value in €.
4. 044. Pick the Reason: Breakage, Spoilage, Theft, Staff meal or Other.
5. 055. If you have several locations, pick the Location. A Note is optional.
6. 066. Choose Add entry.

In the overview you can also choose Record right next to a day.

Good to know

• The entries appear as a separate total, per reason, next to the rates. They never go into the void rate.
• The Hub does not accept a date in the future or more than a year back, nor unrealistically large quantities or values.
• Edit changes an entry. Delete removes it from the total; the log keeps a record of it.
• An entry here books nothing in Stock. If the stock level should be right, also book spoilage in Stock.

Only the owner can record entries.
