Create a document from a template

The templates are written for hospitality in Germany: employment contracts, amendments, personnel questionnaire, instructions, handover records, certificates, reference letter, warning letter, termination and more. They are in German.

How to create a document

1. 011. Open Documents and choose Create.
2. 022. Under Which template? search, for example for “Arbeitsvertrag”, or browse All templates. Without a template, use Start blank.
3. 033. Choose who the document is for, such as the employee, then Continue with …. Continue without also works.
4. 044. Under Details from the hub you see the values the Hub already knows. If something is missing, fill it in; with Save to the file of … it goes into their file too. Under Options you choose, for example, type of employment, fixed term or probation.
5. 055. Look at the Preview and choose Create as draft or Create and print.

Missing values are highlighted in the draft. It can only be signed once nothing is missing. Then continue with Signing digitally or on paper.

Several documents at once

In a person's file, New hire or Leaving starts a package: several documents as drafts, requests to the person and a personal link for everything on one page. There are further packages for a new supplier, a new location and the hygiene audit.

Good to know

• What you take over is a copy of the template. If the library changes, your contract does not quietly change with it.
• Amounts such as the minimum wage or the mini-job limit are deliberately left out of the model text because they change. The contract refers to at least the statutory minimum wage in force, and the hourly rate comes from the file.
• Draft with AI gives you a draft to keep working on, if a model is set up for your business. Read it in full.
