Team and Veydex Shift
Pick up an open shift
In Veydex Shift under “Organize › Board” you see open shifts, but only those you may take given rest time, role and weekly hours. “I'll take it” sends the request, and the business approves.
The board holds shifts your business posts and shifts someone on the team gives away. When one comes up that fits you, you are notified.
Take a shift
- 1. In Veydex Shift, open Organize › Board.
- 2. It only shows what you can take given rest time, role and weekly hours.
- 3. Tap I'll take it. It then says “Taken — now your workplace approves.”
If a cover search is running for that shift and your business has set a yes to count right away, the shift is yours at once: “Thanks! The shift is yours.”
When you are asked directly
When someone drops out, the Hub asks the best fits directly. The app then shows “Cover needed” with a deadline. Accept takes the shift, Decline passes it to the next person. Who is off, or why, is not shown.
Approve in the Hub
Under Rota › Requests you see “{name} wants to pick it up”. Approve gives the shift to the person, Decline keeps it open. You see the same when you tap the shift in the plan.
