Choose or change your business address (subdomain)

Your business address is where your Hub can be reached, for example cafe-lux.veydex.app. At sign-up the Hub builds it from your business name; German umlauts are spelled out, so Müller becomes mueller. If the name is taken, you get a slightly different address. You see which one while typing, under Your hub address.

You can also sign in through hub.veydex.com. The Hub then forwards you to your business address.

Change the address

1. 011. Open Settings › General.
2. 022. Enter the new name in the Subdomain field.
3. 033. Save with the button at the top right, for example Save 1 change.

The name must follow these rules:

• a to z, 0 to 9 and hyphens are allowed, but not at the start or end
• at most 63 characters
• some names are reserved, such as www, admin or support
• if the name is taken, the Hub says “This subdomain is already taken.”

Only the owner can change the address. The change is recorded in the activity log.
