- What does Veydex cost?
- You pay per module, not for a bundle. The bookable modules run from 8 to 29 euros net a month, Analytics is included in the Hub, and Payments bills at 0.9 per cent per transaction. Only what you have booked is charged — the pricing page adds your selection up for you.
- Do I need a new till?
- No, and today it would not even be possible. Veydex Connect links the till already at your place and makes its data usable for the modules you have booked — no change of system. Our own Veydex till is in development and cannot be ordered yet, so the open route runs over yours.
- Can I buy the Veydex till?
- Not yet. It is in development and running in test operation with selected businesses; we will name a date for general sale once it stands. What runs in full today is the Hub on the till you already have. If you want into the test programme, write to us — that is what the contact page is for.
- What hardware do I need?
- Ordinary iPads. The till sits in the venue as a device and computes there; you operate it from iPads — no special hardware sold by one supplier only, which you write off when you move. What peripherals you add depends on the venue: receipt printer, card terminal, cash drawer.
- How long does the contract run?
- For an indefinite period. Either side may terminate with fourteen days' notice to the end of a billing month, unless agreed otherwise. Individual modules can be cancelled separately; when the last one is cancelled, the contract ends altogether. The full provision is in the terms and conditions.
- Does the till work without internet?
- That is decided by the security module, not by the till. A local TSE sits in the device or on the network and signs without any connection. A cloud TSE signs on the provider's server — no line, no signature. So do not ask whether you can take payment, but whether it gets signed.
- What is a TSE?
- The technical security module is a certified component that signs every recordable till transaction — at the start and at the close of the transaction, not later. Its signatures must be retained and be machine-readable in a tax audit, regardless of whether the till that produced them still exists.
- Does Veydex produce a DATEV posting batch?
- Not today. Analytics gives you reports and a CSV export, and that is a sheet of numbers, not a bookkeeping file. If your accountant needs a handover, it currently comes from the till and not from the Hub. This is here because the question comes up in every other conversation.
- Can I carry over the data from my old till?
- Usually yes, but it needs lead time. Till data, the article master, customer records and outstanding vouchers should be requested from your old provider about four weeks before the switch, in writing and with a deadline. Then spot-check the export: one nobody has opened is not a backup.
- Can I try Veydex?
- Yes, for fourteen days and free of charge. The trial ends by itself: it does not turn into a paid contract without an explicit booking, and you do not have to cancel it. During the trial there are no availability or warranty claims — the full rule is in § 3 of the terms.
- Which tills work?
- It depends on the system and the route available: cloud API, OAuth, a local connector, direct push, or the DSFinV-K export that every till with recording duties has. Rather than a list where not every entry has a working connection behind it, we check your system individually — the till check names the route and the limits before you book.
