Why Veydex exists
A business that wants to move forward faces an unpleasant choice. Either it replaces its till system — in the middle of trading, with everything attached to it: articles, staff, routines, bookkeeping. Or it stays with what it has and gives up everything that has become possible since.
Veydex is the answer to that choice. There is the Veydex till for anyone buying anyway — it is in development and running in test operation. And there is Veydex Connect for anyone who wants to keep their system; that route is open today. Both lead into the same system, and over both a business reaches the same functionality.
The second route is not the smaller solution. It is the reason Veydex exists.
How we build software

The operation first, the feature second
A module comes from a job someone solves today with notes, a spreadsheet or five messages — not from a feature list that needs another line.

Bookable one by one, useful together
Eighteen modules instead of one bundle. Need two, pay for two. Grow, and add more — no second contract, no second login.

Arithmetic before guesswork
Analytics is plain algorithms: time series, forecasts and comparisons, auditable at any time. The helpers build on that. They do not replace it.

Limits are part of the feature
Every helper works at a trust level the business sets. Before anything runs, Veydex checks remit, limits, objection window and quota. If someone objects, it does not happen.

What is missing says so
Where a module falls short of its own copy today, that is written on the module line — on the pricing page, on the product page and in the quote. A module that would come out empty, we do not sell.
Local-first is a decision, not a technology choice
The Veydex till is designed to sit in the venue and compute there. The models that learn your patterns run on that device — not solely in a cloud where a thousand businesses turn into an average.
That has a consequence beyond technology: forecasts are based on your operation, not on an imagined one.
For the platform itself this does not hold across the board: anyone linking an existing till over Veydex Connect passes exactly that data to the Hub. Where it then sits and who processes it is on the Security & data page — together with the points still open there.
