Enter an article's shelf life
That is not possible in Stock yet: the stock article form has no field for it. If the calculated reorder list says “no shelf life set”, the Hub uses a default for that article.
The Hub can work with a shelf life per article: goods that would spoil before they are used get less buffer in the calculated reorder proposal than goods that keep. But the shelf life cannot be entered on the Stock screen yet.
What that means for you
- In the reorder list under Calculated, such articles show “no shelf life set”. The Hub then uses a default.
- For fresh produce, check the proposed quantity before you order. The maths behind each line shows where it comes from.
- Stock does not track best-before dates of individual deliveries.
