Does Veydex collect fees by direct debit?
No, not yet. The Hub creates the fees as charges and shows what is open; the money is collected outside Veydex. With the Payments module you send a payment link per fee, which marks itself as paid.
Not yet. Creating the fees debits nothing. The Hub also does not pretend to debit; it shows what is open.
What works today
- As before: Collect the fees as you did before, by direct debit through your bank, transfer or cash, and mark each fee as paid once the money is in. If a direct debit bounces, mark it as failed.
- By payment link: With the Payments module you copy a link for exactly the amount of each open fee. Once the member pays, the fee is marked paid by itself.

In the Contact section, Mandate reference shows whether one is stored for the member; otherwise it says "none, pays by link or cash". It cannot be entered in the interface today.
