Setting up a stamp card or points scheme
In Loyalty, choose “Design stamp card”: set the type, stamps or points to the reward, the reward, expiry and referral, then “Publish”. From then on your team stamps at the counter. Designing works on a computer, for the owner only.
Loyalty needs Guest records: every account hangs on a guest. The owner sets up the scheme on a computer.
How it works
- 1. Open Loyalty and choose Design stamp card (if there is already a scheme: Design a new programme).
- 2. On the right, under the properties: - Name, for example “Coffee stamp card” - Type: Stamp card (1 stamp per visit) or Points per spend - for a stamp card, Stamps to the reward; for points, Points per euro and Points to the reward - Reward: what the guest gets - Expiry: Never or after a number of months - Referral: how much both get when someone joins with a code
- 3. In the middle you see the card as a guest would have it, and with Poster the sheet for the counter in A5 portrait.
- 4. Choose Publish. Only then does the card apply.
Changing the rules later
Changes stay in the draft until you publish. The new rule applies from then on; collected stamps and points stay, and an expiry already set does not get shorter. While you edit, the card shows who would have the reward straight away. Print the poster again afterwards.
Pausing
The Programme running switch applies at once, without publishing. While paused, the scheme takes nobody new; anyone collecting keeps their balance.
Good to know
Points are rounded down: €4.90 at one point per euro is four points. There are no tiers such as bronze, silver and gold.
