When stamps and points expire
Nothing expires unless you set an expiry in months on the scheme. Each stamp then expires that many months after the visit, as a booking of its own in the account. What expires within 30 days shows on the guest.
Setting it
In the scheme under Expiry: Never or a number of months. A change applies to new stamps and points; those already collected keep their deadline.
How the Hub works it out
- Each stamp and each credit expires the set number of months after the visit.
- Redemptions always take the oldest first. What has been redeemed cannot expire.
- Expiry is a booking of its own in the account, not a quiet deduction. Under Bookings it shows as Expiry.
- The Hub books expiry every hour.
Seeing it coming
The guest's account shows Expiring in 30 days. If you use the helpers, Rosa reports once a week how many points on how many accounts are about to expire.
Booking it now
Under … Members, the owner chooses Book expiry now and confirms with Book now. That only brings the hourly run forward.
