Giving a helper a task
In a helper's profile, on the Task tab, write in your own words what it should do and choose Give task. It may look things up straight away; anything that changes something it lays out for your approval, even at level 3.
Besides its regular round, a helper can also work through a single task.
How to give a task
- 1. Open Team › Helpers and choose the helper on the right.
- 2. Open the Task tab.
- 3. Under Task for …, write in your own words what it should do, for example: “Make sure we have enough salmon for tonight, no dearer than at the supplier.”
- 4. Choose Give task.
What happens then
- The helper looks up what it needs to know. It may do that right away.
- Anything that would change something, such as an order, it lays out for you as a proposal. That applies even if it otherwise works at level 3.
- It writes every step into the case. You can read along while it works.
A helper only works with what belongs to its area: Ben with purchasing and stock, Mira with staffing.
When it does not work
- If the helper is paused, a task only works once it is back On duty.
- Tasks need a language model. If none is running, the Hub tells you; Veydex is on it.
