Setting the trust level: what a helper may do
In a helper's profile, under Settings › Trust level, you choose whether it only reports (1), proposes (2) or acts by itself after an objection window (3). Some roles cannot be set higher.
How far a helper may go, you set per helper.
How to change the level
- 1. Open Team › Helpers.
- 2. On the right under Your helpers, choose the helper.
- 3. Open the Settings tab.
- 4. Under Trust level, pick the level. It applies at once.
What the levels mean
- Level 1, reports only: the helper reports what stands out. Nothing else.
- Level 2, proposes: it prepares a finished proposal with reasoning, and you decide.
- Level 3, acts after an objection window: it announces, waits out the window and then acts unless you object. More in A proposal runs by itself.
Level 4 appears in the selection but cannot be switched on for any helper.
What cannot go higher
Some roles have a fixed ceiling. They then show This role allows level … at most.
- Jo always stays at level 1.
- Toni and Karla go no higher than level 2.
Even at level 3: anything that costs money or reaches the outside world always needs your yes. See Approvals in the inbox.
Only the owner sets the level, and only at a computer.
