“What is different today?”
On Today, “What is different today?” only appears when the previous day clearly differs from the same weekdays before in revenue, receipts, average ticket, labour hours or guests, with an amount in euros. The owner also gets a notification.
Every day the Hub compares the previous day with the same weekday in the weeks before, so a Thursday with Thursdays. It only speaks up when something clearly stands out. If nothing does, you see nothing.
What is compared
- Revenue, Receipts and Average ticket from your till
- Labour hours, if you have the Rota
- Covers, if you have Reservations
Only what also matters in euros is reported. A café a few euros below a normal Tuesday has no incident.
Where you see it
- On Today as the card “What is different today?”, for example “Revenue … below a normal Thursday” and “Around … less than usual in total”.
- As the notification “Yesterday looked different”.
Working shows, per line, the value, the usual value and how many comparison days it rests on. Check now checks straight away instead of waiting for the next run.
Good to know
- If the day's receipts are not in yet, the Hub stays quiet instead of reporting “no revenue”.
- A comparison needs a few weeks of the same weekday.
The notifications go to the owner.
