Team and Veydex Shift

Correct working time

The person requests “Request a correction” in Veydex Shift and signs it with their device; you approve in the Hub. If you correct it yourself under “Time”, the person confirms in the app. Clocked times are never overwritten; the correction sits next to them.

What was clocked stays in the log. A correction says how to read it, with a reason, a name and a time. Nobody changes their own time alone.

As a member of staff

  1. 1. In Veydex Shift, tap the time on Home or under More › Hours and choose Request a correction.
  2. 2. Under What's not right?, pick for example Change start, Change end, Add missing end, Add missing break or Remove break and enter the correct time.
  3. 3. Add a short note on why.
  4. 4. Tap Continue to sign and then Sign correction.

Until a decision is made, the clocked time stands. Up to three requests can be open per shift; Withdraw takes one back.

Approve in the Hub

  1. 1. Open Rota › Today. Under Waiting for you it says “{name} asks for a correction”.
  2. 2. Choose Sign and apply, check old and new, and confirm with Sign digitally and apply. Or Decline with a sentence.

Both signatures together produce a seal with a code. The person has the decision on their phone straight away.

Correct it yourself

  1. 1. Open Rota › Time, pick the week and the shift, and tap Correct.
  2. 2. Change Start, End or Break (min) and enter the Reason for the change.
  3. 3. Save with Sign digitally and save.

The correction applies at once; payroll does not wait. The person sees it in the app under “Please confirm” and confirms with Review and confirm; then it is sealed. If they disagree, they tap That's not right and request a correction themselves.

If a shift is missing entirely, add it with Add time. If a shift should not count, use Remove shift. If someone started earlier than planned, Today offers Count from planned start.
