Guests and reservations

Recording allergies and notes

An allergy belongs in Guest records under “Edit details” › Allergies; it then shows as a warning at the top of the card. On a single reservation, write it in the note, using the word “Allergie”.

In Guest records

  1. 1. Open the guest and choose Edit details.
  2. 2. Enter the allergy under Allergies, for example “peanut, lactose”.
  3. 3. Save with Save guest.

The allergy then shows as a warning at the top of the card, with a reminder to tell the kitchen before ordering.

Notes

  1. 1. Open the Notes tab for the guest.
  2. 2. Choose Add a note, write what the team should know on the next visit and save with Save note.

Each line is one note. Together, a guest's notes hold at most 2000 characters. The record does not keep who wrote a note, only the day of the last change.

On the reservation

A reservation has no allergy field of its own. Write the hint in the booking's Note. If it contains the German words “Allergie”, “Unverträglichkeit”, “Intoleranz” or “Zöliakie”, the Hub marks the booking with a warning sign in the list, occupancy view and floor plan. “Vegan” on its own is a preference and gets no sign.

Preferences

Under Preferences the Hub works out from the visits which weekday the guest usually comes and with how many. Below three visits it says there are too few for a pattern yet.
