Guests and reservations
The guest did not come (no-show)
Open the reservation and choose “No-show”. The table becomes free, and if the reservation is linked to Guest records, the Hub counts the no-show against the guest.
If a guest does not come, you mark the reservation. This works for reservations that are Pending or Confirmed.
How it works
- 1. Open the reservation.
- 2. Choose No-show.
What happens afterwards
- The table is free again for the remaining time.
- For today, the top of Reservations shows how many did not show up in the last 7 days.
- If the guest is in Guest records, the no-show is counted there. From the second time, they appear in the Repeat no-shows segment, and the top of their card shows the number of no-shows with a hint to have the next reservation confirmed again.
They came after all?
Choose Check in on the reservation. It then counts as a visit, and the no-show drops out of the record.
Good to know
The Hub does not charge a fee for no-shows, see Is a deposit possible?. What helps against empty tables is a reminder beforehand, see Setting up a reminder.
