Guests and reservations
Seating a guest without a reservation (walk-in)
In the floor plan, choose “Seat a walk-in”, pick the number of guests and tap a free table. The guest is seated in the plan straight away; “Undo” takes it back.
If someone comes without a reservation, you seat them in the Floor plan, on a computer or a phone.
How it works
- 1. Open Reservations and then Floor plan, or choose Start service for full screen.
- 2. Choose Seat a walk-in.
- 3. Pick the number under How many guests?.
- 4. Under Which table?, tap a free table.
- 5. Confirm with Seat walk-in.
A line appears at the bottom saying where the walk-in is seated, with Undo in case you tapped the wrong thing.
Without a floor plan
If you have not added any tables, the Hub seats the guest with Seat without a table. They count towards occupancy but sit at no table.
With name and contact
If you want the guest in Guest records, add a reservation instead and choose Walk-in under How did the booking come in?, with a phone number or email. Then check them in. A walk-in from the floor plan is called “Walk-in” in the book and is not linked to any record.
Walk-ins get no email.
