Adding tables and arranging the room

Under Settings › Tables & areas you add tables with label, seats and zone, or load the example floor plan. Where a table stands in the room, you drag into place in the floor plan.

With tables, the Hub knows how many parties fit at the same time and shows in Occupancy who sits where. Owners and shift leads can add and move tables; only the owner can delete one.

Adding tables

  1. 1. Open Settings › Tables & areas.
  2. 2. If there is nothing yet: Load example floor plan creates a plan with twelve tables in dining room, group and bar for you to adapt. Or choose Add tables.
  3. 3. For each further table: Add table, then enter Label (for example “T7”), Seats and Zone (Dining room, Group or Bar) and save.

In Reservations you can do the same with Add table to floor plan.

Arranging the room

  1. 1. Choose Arrange in the table plan below the list, or open the Floor plan in Reservations.
  2. 2. Choose Edit floor plan.
  3. 3. Drag the tables into place. Tapping one opens it, tapping an empty spot adds a new one.
  4. 4. Finish with Done.

Good to know

  • Without tables, the Hub checks no capacity, only opening hours, lead time and party size.
  • A party needs one table with enough seats. How the Hub works this out is in Why a time is not free.
  • Table names have to be unique. If a reservation names a table that is not in the plan, the Hub says so.
