Payments, Link and phone

When does the money reach my bank account?

Stripe pays out according to the payout schedule in your Stripe account; the Hub mirrors the payouts under Payments › Payouts. There you reconcile and download payments and payouts as CSV for your accounts.

Your guests' money reaches your bank account with a payout from Stripe. When that happens is set by the payout schedule in your Stripe account; the Hub only shows the payouts.

View payouts

  1. 1. Open Payments and then Payouts.
  2. 2. Choose the period at the top: Month, Week or Custom.
  3. 3. Each payout shows its amount and status: announced, in transit, in your account, failed or cancelled.

If a payout you already see at Stripe is missing, choose Update now. The Hub then fetches the state from Stripe.

Stripe does not tell the Hub which payment is in which payout. Payments and payouts therefore appear on the same timeline, but without matching.

Reconcile and export

On the right under Closing, the Hub checks two things for the period:

  • whether the payouts have arrived in your account, according to Stripe,
  • whether every payment adds up: gross minus fee minus refund, to the cent.

Below that, Download CSV gives you the period's payments or payouts. Payments come one per row with gross, fee, refund and net. Reconciling and exporting work on a computer, not on a phone.

If a payout fails

If it shows Payout failed, the money is still with Stripe. Check the bank details in your Stripe account.
