Uploading the DSFinV-K export
Every German till can produce the DSFinV-K export. Upload it as a ZIP under Settings › Integrations › Read a till export, or at your till under Operations › Tills with Upload export. That brings your history into the Hub without your till maker having to play along.
Every till with recording duties has to produce the DSFinV-K export. In the back office it is usually called “DSFinV-K” or “export for the tax authorities”.
How to upload it
- 1. In your till, create the export for the period you want, as a ZIP.
- 2. In the Hub, open Settings › Integrations.
- 3. Under Read a till export, choose Choose archive … and pick the file.
Alternatively: under Operations › Tills, systems that run through the export offer Upload export. There you drag the file into the field.
A file may be up to 80 MB.
What happens then
The Hub reads the export in the background. A year's export takes a few minutes; don't upload the file again in the meantime. The row then shows:
- the period the export covers
- how many receipts were new, updated or already there
- under Contained:, which fields your till really includes in the export
- skipped training receipts; they look like revenue and are not
- receipts without a till closing, whose business day is derived from the timestamp
After the first export, Five things you did not know appears below it, a first look at your history.
Good to know
- Uploading the same export again counts nothing twice.
- The export is not a live connection. The data is as current as your last upload.
- Whatever is not in the export is missing in the Hub too. It then says Not in the till export, see Why is there a dash instead of €0.00?
- A spreadsheet works instead of DSFinV-K, see Reading till data from a spreadsheet.
