Can I take my menu over from the till?
No. The Hub does not take over your till's article master, and there is no list import. You create the dishes in Menu; the Hub then matches your till's lines via the item number.
Menu in the Hub and your till's article master are two separate lists. The Hub does not read the till to create dishes from it.
How to start
- 1. Create the dishes in Menu. Name and price are enough to begin with, see Add a dish.
- 2. For each dish, enter the number your till uses under Item number.
- 3. The Hub then matches your till's lines through it, retroactively too, see Match till lines to dishes.
You add allergens, food cost and variants when you get to them.
You keep maintaining prices in both places: publishing the menu does not write anything to your till.
