What Link's autopilot does, and what it never does

The autopilot sets fallback actions for dead links, clears long-expired offers from the draft, reminds you of public holidays and sends the weekly report on Mondays. It never touches prices, allergens, texts or domains; there is no switch for that.

The autopilot takes small tasks off your hands, within the levels and switches you set in Veydex Link. Every action is logged with its reason. The owner sets it up.

What it can do

  • Replace dead links: If an external address on your page cannot be reached twice, the page shows the fallback action. Once the address works again, the button comes back. It does not change any text.
  • Clear expired offers: An offer that expired 30 days ago is removed from the draft. On the page it had not been shown since it ended anyway.
  • Remind you of public holidays: A week before a public holiday without a rule of its own, you get a notification asking whether your normal opening hours apply. Nothing is changed.
  • Weekly report: on Mondays an email with the week's views, actions opened and enquiries.

What it never does

On no level, and there is no switch for it:

  • change prices
  • set or change allergens
  • take over phone numbers, addresses or opening hours from external sources
  • publish texts or descriptions
  • buy domains
  • sign contracts or subscriptions
  • pass customer data on to third parties
  • make reservations on a guest's behalf

Suggestions

Veydex Link also makes suggestions with a reason: public holidays without a rule, links that no longer work, gaps in the profile, enquiries waiting. Only what you did with them is stored: done, dismissed or later.
