Can I take a deposit right when a reservation is made?
On your booking page and on Veydex Link, booking does not ask for a deposit yet. You can, however, send the guest a payment link of the kind Deposit under Payments.
Not yet. On your own booking page and on Veydex Link the booking flow does not ask for a deposit, and the Hub does not charge a no-show fee by itself.
What works today
You send the guest a payment link:
- 1. Open Payments and choose Create payment link.
- 2. Under Kind choose Deposit, Prepayment or No-show fee.
- 3. In Purpose write what it is for, such as "Deposit Christmas party 18 Dec".
- 4. Copy the link and send it to the guest.

The Hub does not check whether the reservation stands if the guest does not pay. That is your decision. What you can do on the booking page instead is in Is a deposit or a no-show fee possible?.
