Guests and reservations
Asking for a review after the visit
In Reviews, tap the “Ask after the visit” switch, check the preview and choose “Switch on”. From then on the Hub asks every guest with an email address for a review after their visit, with no filter by stars. This needs the Reservations module.
The Hub asks after reservations marked Seated or walk-in, a set time after the visit. The owner sets this up.
Switching it on
- 1. Open Reviews. On the right you see the average and the request after the visit.
- 2. Tap the switch next to Ask after the visit.
- 3. The preview Ask after the visit? shows how many guests it would go to now, who is skipped and why. View email shows the email word for word.
- 4. Choose Switch on.
After that, the Hub asks every hour after each new visit; the first run comes within the hour.
Waiting time and link
- 1. Next to Link to your review page, choose Change.
- 2. Under Hours after the visit, enter a number between 1 and 336 (20 by default).
- 3. Enter the link to your public profile, on Google for example.
- 4. Save with Save review request.
The link is the same for every star rating. Without a link, guests are still asked, just without a way to Google.
Asking right away
Instead of waiting for the hourly run: under Ask now, choose Preview, then send to the guests listed. It counts visits from the last 7 days that are long enough ago and have not been asked yet.
Good to know
- The request comes as an email in your venue's name, in the form of address chosen under Settings › General, with a button to rate the visit. The email is in German.
- Without the Reservations module, the preview says there are no visits to ask about.
- Who is asked and who is not is in Who is asked for a review.
