Getting started

The business calendar

Under Today › Calendar every business has a calendar without booking a module: deliveries, inspections, maintenance, deadlines, with series and reminders into the inbox. Booked modules add their appointments and reservations to the same calendar.

The calendar belongs to the Hub itself. You don't need a module for it.

Adding an entry

  1. 1. In the sidebar, open Today › Calendar.
  2. 2. Choose Add entry.
  3. 3. Under What, enter what it is about, for example “wine delivery” or “food inspection”.
  4. 4. Choose the Type: appointment, meeting, delivery, deadline, inspection, maintenance, team, private or other.
  5. 5. Set the date, from and to, or All day.
  6. 6. Optional: a Reminder, such as 1 day before. It lands in the inbox.
  7. 7. Optional: Repeat, such as every week or every month, with Series ends on.
  8. 8. Under Who sees it, choose The whole team or Owners and admins only.
  9. 9. Choose Save entry.

A change to one appointment in a series applies to all appointments in the series.

Views

At the top, choose Day, Week, Month or List. The list shows the next 60 days.

What modules add

Depending on what you have booked, the same calendar shows more:

  • with the appointment book in Reminders, customer appointments, one column per person
  • with Reservations, the day's reservations
  • with Rota and Documents, shifts and expiring documents as daily figures

What you haven't booked doesn't appear.

Special types are Closed, Blocker and Callback, see Entering a closure. The Hub reads dates out of letters and emails for you, see Having dates entered from documents.
