Are calls recorded? Privacy with the Phone AI

The Hub does not store the wording of a call. It stores the summary, the caller's number and what came of the call, and for enquiries also name, occasion, number of people and preferred date.

The Hub does not store the wording of a conversation, only the summary. This is one of the limits that cannot be switched off.

What is in the Hub

  • per call: the summary, the caller's number, what came of it (reservation, enquiry, answer from the knowledge, callback) and whether the summary was delivered
  • for enquiries about parties and groups: name, phone number, occasion, number of people, preferred date and notes
  • for a phone reservation: the reservation itself, linked to Guest records by number
  • the length of the calls, for billing the minutes

Who processes the speech

Speech is processed by a provider Veydex engages. You do not need an account there. Which provider it is and where it processes, we tell you on request; write to support@veydex.com.

Do callers learn that an AI is speaking?

What the caller hears first is set by your Greeting under Settings › Voice. The Hub does not add a fixed notice by itself. If callers should know, write it into that sentence, see Set the Phone AI's voice, greeting and tone.
