Guests and reservations
Create a segment for a campaign
In the schedule under Segments choose Add segment and fill in only the fields that should apply, such as Not seen for days or At least visits. The figures update as you type; the first is the reachable guests with consent and an address.
A segment is a rule over your Guest records, not a fixed list. It is recalculated at sending; anyone who has joined or dropped out by then is in or out of the campaign too.
How to create one
- 1. Open Marketing › Open schedule › Segments.
- 2. Choose Add segment and enter a Segment name.
- 3. Fill in only the fields that should apply. Empty fields do not apply: - Not seen for days - Seen within days - At least visits and At most visits - Guest for days - At least no-shows - Tag from Guest records
- 4. The figures update as you type: Reachable, In the segment, Without consent and Without an address, plus a sample of the guests.
- 5. Choose Create segment.
Then pick it in a campaign under Segment.
Good to know
- Not seen for days only covers guests who have been in at least once.
- Blocked guests always drop out.
- The Hub knows visits from reservations, appointments and visits you log in Guest records. It cannot select walk-in guests without such entries.
- If you delete a segment, sent campaigns keep their recipient list.
Who is best to reach out to right now is shown under Outreach, see Who to reach out to now?.
