Mark orders as ordered or cancel them

Under Stock › Orders you find draft orders, for example from Ben among the Helpers. Once you have ordered from the supplier, choose Mark as ordered; a draft you do not need, Cancel. Only the owner can do either.

The Hub does not send orders to your supplier. Draft orders are created by Ben, the buyer among the Helpers, when you accept his proposals. Without the Helpers this list stays empty, and you order from the reorder list.

How to go about it

  1. 1. Open Stock › Orders and tap an order. You see lines, quantities, unit prices and the total.
  2. 2. Order from the supplier as usual, by phone, email or in their portal.
  3. 3. Choose Mark as ordered and confirm. This records that the order went out.
  4. 4. If you do not need a draft, choose Cancel.

What happens next

  • The status changes from Draft to Ordered or Cancelled. There is no way back from there.
  • When you mark an order as ordered, your team gets a notification so everyone knows what is coming.
  • Stock does not change. You book the goods receipt when the delivery arrives.

While an order is still a draft, the stock view shows “in Ben's draft” for the articles concerned.

Only the owner can mark orders as ordered or cancel them, because an order commits the business to a supplier.
